Surfing The Chaotic Waves

This came through my journaling practice this morning. I thought I would share.

I am moving more and more towards stillness these days. Freeing myself from the external noise of the happenings of the world. Freeing myself from the to-dos that want to fill my days. There is constant pressure to protect me from the chaos of the world, to fight the oncoming changes that are inevitable. I know I am ready as I can be for whatever is going to unfold.

There is always change coming. However, sometimes that change is more dramatic than others, and this time seems to be the case too.

I sense what’s coming will be slow and steady. And, maybe in 18 months, I will look behind me and say WTF just happened? How did I not notice that all of this was unfolding? Was I too busy, too paralyzed, or simply complicit in the collective denial to do anything about it?

I have to trust that my soul knows what it is doing. I am here during this critical juncture of our world for a purpose. It is either as a witness or as a rock to lean on. I will remain steadfast in my truth. I may not see the big picture yet, but I trust something beautiful will be built from the wreckage.

My mantra these days is everything that does not align with my soul’s mission must fall away, even if that is the world as we know it.

Is There A Difference Between Soul & Spirit?

While in conversation with my guides, I asked if there was a difference between Soul and spirit. The following is the message that came through.

You are not only a soul; you are spirit incarnate. Spirit and Soul are all part of the Infinite Oneness. To live in the experience of this dimension, you had to believe you were separate from your Soul. Spirit is what animates your body. Prana (Spirit) breathes life into your being. The more Spirit or Prana, the more life force, i.e., energy you have access to.

Spirit = Prana = Life Force

Ways to Experience More Life Force:

  • If your battery (physical body) has a low charge, you will feel fatigued. The best way to charge your battery is through the breath (prana). So when you are tired, breathe.
  • Another way to charge your battery is water. Water conducts energy. Drink lots of water! Bathe in it, swim in it, meditate by a body of water. It will recharge you.
  • Appreciation. When you are in a state of appreciation, your whole being is energized. Connect with Nature, and finding things to be grateful for will renew you.
  • Be present. Nothing drains your body as fast as dwelling in the past or the future.

So then, what is the Soul? Find out the answer in part 2 of this conversation.
